What we collect and why

When you contact us

When you send the contact form we receive your first and last name, email address, phone number and your message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss and prepare our services for you.

Your message is stored in our website's database and sent to our email inbox. Only our team can access it. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process it to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you visit the website

Like any website, our server records technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited time to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work:

• Session cookie: keeps the website working while you browse (for example, so the contact form can be submitted). It expires after two hours.
• XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against misuse by other websites. It expires after two hours.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for cookie consent.

Third-party content

• YouTube videos: some project pages offer videos hosted on YouTube (Google). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube receives your IP address and may store data in your browser. See Google's privacy policy.
• Social media links: links to our TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube profiles are plain links. Nothing is shared with those networks unless you click them.
• Maps: our address links to Google Maps, which only opens if you click it.

Fonts and all other files are served from our own website, not from third-party servers.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with the service providers we need to run this website and our email (our hosting and email providers), who process it on our behalf. These providers may store data outside your country.

How long we keep it

Enquiries sent through the contact form are deleted from our website automatically 24 months after we receive them, or earlier if you ask us to. Copies in our email inbox are deleted when we no longer need them. If you become a client, we keep our correspondence for as long as needed for the work and for our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop or limit using it, or object to how we use it.

Email info@crackedegg.studio and we will reply within one month. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Lebanon, personal data is protected by Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data. In the EU, contact the supervisory authority of your country.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
